At Daisy Chain, we try to cater for all your needs. Below you'll find some of the latest information regarding the various classes held at Daisy's. You can also click on the following link to take a look at this month's calendar of events.

Kits are available for all our cardmaking and scrapbooking classes. These can be ordered beforehand and picked up at your earliest convenience. Bookings are essential for all classes, as all kits are made up according to numbers. Our workshop is large and can cater for up to 30 attendees.

Our fortnightly Monday morning class is going really well – welcome to all our new cardmakers who’ve joined us.  Cost and format is the same as our other classes – so if you find you’re unable to come to your regular class you are welcome to come to the Monday class instead – as with all our classes – bookings are essential.  Cardmaking classes are held at the following times – we’d love for you to join us! Cost of classes is $12 and Friendship groups is $5.

Classes are held at the following times :- 1st, 3rd and 5th Monday nights 7 – 9pm, 2nd and 4th Monday nights 7.30 – 9.30pm, Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 9.30 – 11.30am fortnightly – with the alternate Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings being a Cardmakers Friendship Group where you can utilize the workshop tools and punches to create your cards in the company of others, share ideas and have fun.  Morning tea and supper is included in our class cost. Also there’s a class held on the 3rd Wednesday night of the month 7.30 – 9.30pm and a Cardmakers Friendship Group on the 4th Saturday of the month from 10am – 3pm.

As with all our classes and workshops – you will need to supply your own ‘consumables’ i.e. scissors, cutting mat and adhesives (we sell all of these items and recommend double sided tape and mono aqua glue for our card classes).

Only a little more of the school year to go. It’s always sad to say goodbye to another grade at school. The good news is that Daisy Chain continues classes for the kids for the whole of the school holidays with projects at our regular class times as well as special craft classes and classes for the family in card making. Cuttlebug Classes

These classes are held on a fortnightly basis on the alternate weeks to our morning card making classes. These are a great way to get familiar with your Cuttlebug and to see all the wonderful ways this amazing little machine can be used. The classes are held Tuesday afternoon from 1-3pm and Wednesday 10-12noon. The class cost is $15 and you'll make 3 cards. Bookings are essential.

Our heritage classes have been going for a long time now and have evolved into a nice format. As everyone has different photos and projects they’re working on, it’s hard to be specific when creating a layout. Instead, we specify that it’s either “feminine” or “masculine” and bring photos that suit that broad theme. There is a layout for you to replicate or adapt to your own needs. I’m there to help every step of the way and to show different tips, techniques and ideas that you can use to preserve you memories. Classes are held fortnightly on a Friday afternoon - 1 to 3pm. Join the Daisy Chain Cricut Club…If you own a Cricut machine, why not join us fortnightly on a Monday afternoon (from 1-3pm) for our Cricut Club gatherings where we’ll share ideas, learn new techniques and create awesome layouts, cards and projects using the Cricut machine.  Once a month we’ll conduct a class costing $20 (which includes materials) and on the alternate fortnight we’ll have a friendly game of Cricut costing $10 - where you can learn from others and use our cartridge library – which includes both alphabet and image cartridges.

Scrapbooking With Suzanne Tonga

If you would like the opportunity to scrapbook like our much published and sought after Sue, then Tuesday morning is the class for you. Sue's classes offer an advanced level of techniques which will take your scrapbooking to a level you may not be brave enough to attempt on your own. Sue's is always up to date with the latest trends, papers and techniques and is always willing to share her ideas. These classes are held every Tuesday morning from 10am-12pm. The cost of the class is $10 plus kit costs.

Scrapbooking with Barbi Shipton

Our Thursday morning classes are our original classes and are still going strong. Each week Barbi shows the ladies how to create a lovely layout incorporating many of the newest papers. Class layouts are displayed each week, so photo preparations can be made for the following week. These classes are growing and as with all our other classes, bookings are essential. These classes would suit the scrapbooker who is a beginner as the layouts are not technique laden. These classes are $10 and material costs are extra. As with our other classes, if you have stocks of items in your stash, you're welcome to use them.

Scrapbooking Workshops and Beginners’ Classes

If you’d like to start scrapbooking your  photos but aren’t quite sure where to begin, you can book into a 2 hour Beginners Class – these can be scheduled on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday morning at the same time as Friendship Group is held or at other times by arrangement. The cost is $15 which covers tuition and includes a half price class voucher.  Alternatively, if you’ve started scrapping but haven’t got the space or time at home to get things done, why not book and use our workshop space – for a low fee of $5 for 3 hours or $10 for the day, you can use our table, ideas books and tools as well as enjoy bottomless tea and coffee.  Workshop bookings can be made whenever classes are not being held – check calendar for these times.

Copic Classes

Not only do we sell Copic Ciao pens and accept orders for Copic Sketch Markers, but we have classes so you can develop your skills with us too. Daisy's has three accredited Copic Instructors. We run two introductory classes which are taken sequentially. Copic A, covers the basic information on Copic and teaches you a basic technique, enough information to get you started and a great way to see if it's something you think you could really get into. Copic B covers more advanced techniques. In both classes you'll finish off with colouring in a stamped image. At this stage, we are gauging interest levels before we develop future classes.
