Classes & Use Of The Workshop
The Daisy Chain Workshop is spacious and full of light and is used for our comprehensive schedule of classes. We also offer time in the workshop for you to work on your own projects at your own pace. Joining in a class or enjoying workshop time also provides a great opportunity to connect with others.

Bookings are essential and appreciated, you can do so via contact form, or by phone, email or Facebook Messenger.
Bring your own consumables for all classes including trimmer/scissors, adhesives, pencil, ruler and baby wipes.
Note: We recommend double sided tape, foam tape and mono aqua glue for our regular card classes, and will advise of any additional requirements for specialty classes. These items can be purchased from our store.
If you are unable to get to the store, we offer kits for all our cardmaking and scrapbooking classes. These can be ordered beforehand and posted out or picked up at your convenience, or you can subscribe to our kits via our online store.
Popular Classes
Cardmaking Classes with Janelle, Norma and Barbi
Cardmaking classes are held at the following times:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings 9:30 to 11:30AM fortnightly
- On the alternate week Cardmaking classes are held on Tuesday afternoon 1:00 to 3:00PM and Wednesday mornings 9:30 to 11:30AM.
- We offer an evening Cardmaking Class on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 7:00 – 9:00PM.
Our classes cover a variety of themes and techniques. Participants create three lovely greeting cards and morning/afternoon tea and supper is also provided, at a cost of $18 per person.
Mums and Kids Cardmaking Class
Please note – We have currently suspended our Mums & Kids Classes and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
You are welcome to contact us directly (via phone) to register your interest, and we’ll be happy to let you know when these classes recommence.
Scrapbooking Class with Barbi
Classes are held each Thursday from 9:30 to 11:30AM. We endeavour to cover a variety of themes and techniques in these hands-on classes, and provide photo sizes/themes via our Calendar prior to the class so that you can complete your layout in class if desired.
The cost of the class tuition is $15 plus kit/materials cost which are based on the weekly layout (average $10-$15). Classes are designed to suit all skill levels and if you’ve never tried this wonderful craft before, let us know and we can be sure to make the time to help you through each step to success!
Heritage Scrapbooking Class with Barbi
Our heritage classes are held fortnightly on Friday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00PM. They provide a relaxed and social atmosphere to share stories, reminisce and create Scrapbooking layouts. Layouts can usually be adapted to suit various photo types and sizes and classes cost $15 plus kit/materials cost which are based on the weekly layout (average $10-$15).
Monthly Saturday Scrapbooking Class with Barbi
Our monthly Saturday class is held on the fourth Saturday of the month from 10:00AM to 12:30PM. You’ll create a double page layout in class, and receive the images and instructions to create another two single layouts with the leftover class materials. Cost of the class is $45 and you can also order the Monthly Kit (for this class) if you’re unable to attend. (Postage per monthly kit is $8.95).
Specialty Classes
Published teachers Jo Herbert and EDNA Edie visit our Workshop every other month – bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience – focusing their classes on more specialised techniques and trending products. We also have guest designers visiting from time to time. We announce these classes via our Facebook Events page and through our email newsletter, so subscribe to stay up to date on these special classes!
If you belong to a Craft or Interest Group and would like to do a class or a ‘make and take’ in our store – please contact us to discuss possibilities. We can provide options like a card and morning tea workshop from $12pp – with a minimum of six people.
Workshop Events
Create with Friends Workshop
FREE time in the Workshop is offered on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00AM to 2:30PM where you can create with likeminded people. Bring your own supplies (or buy them in store), and have access to the tools made available via the Workshop, this includes dies, stamps and punches to create your cards, layouts and other projects. Book your seat and come with a creative friend, or come along and meet some creative friends.
Scrapping After Dark (for the Grown-ups!)
Every Friday night from 6:00PM until late, we have a workshop, where you can relax, wind down from your busy week and work on your layouts, cards and other projects, with a fun group of like-minded Crafters! You’ll have access to our vast array of workshop tools and accessories, as well as the inspiration that comes from being in room full of creativity. Supper is provided and cost for the workshop is $9 per person. Please phone the store to let us know you’re planning to attend – as this workshop is dependant on numbers to proceed.
Daisy’s Day Out
Very popular all day events from 10.00AM to 10.00PM for a cost of $30 which includes morning and afternoon tea and dinner (with a portion of our takings going to assist a nominated charity). You can turn these events into a mini retreat by booking in for Scrapping After Dark on the Friday night beforehand! Our next Daisy Day Out will take place on Saturday March 16 – book early to avoid disappointment.
